Online Baccarat

Baccarat is a famous online casino card game. Introduced in Italy and then to France, the game is believed to involve three variants:

Baccarat chemin de fer (Railway)
In this type of game, the players can make their own moves with a high involvement of one’s skills.

Baccarat banque (or à deux tableaux)
In this type of variant, again the players have a right to choose for their actions or moves without having to be reinforced by their cards.

Punto banco (or North American baccarat)
This variant is mostly played at casinos in North America. The players do not require any set skill or strategy to play it as it is purely based on one’s luck. Each player has to make moves as per the cards in his hands.

In a game like Baccarat, there could be only three results in the end, viz. Player, Banker and Tie. In this case, the terms like Player and Banker do not mean customers or houses, as the case may be. These are mere options on which the players can take on a wager.

Valuation of Hands
The online casino game of Baccarat also involves different valuations. The cards ranging from 2 to 9 are worth the Face Value, cards with 10s and cards of Jack, Queen and King are worth Zero, all Aces are worth 1 point. The total score is calculated by taking the sum of all cards and dividing it by 10. In other words, when the total score turns out to be 10 or more than 10, the tens digit will be dropped. For instance, a hand with a combination of 3 and 4 is equal to 7 (3 + 4 = 7). If a hand consists of 5 and 6, it is equal to 11 (5 + 6 = 11). In the latter case, the first digit from ‘11’ will be dropped, making it 1, since the total exceeds 10. In case the hand is c combination of 4 and 6, it will be equal to 0, or in game terms, it’s called Baccarat (4 + 6 = 10 = 0). The highest score possible in Online Baccarat is 9 (Nine).
